Yeah I know. Hence why I'm trying to see if someone here would sell it for a bit less.

On the subject of rare games, if anyone wants to sell Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance 2 for PS2, I'd be willing to pay a reasonable price.

i know a few games i kick myself for not buying a bunch of copies when they were in the $10 jewel case rack or being sold at big lots for under $10 (boxed version too)

and some aren't even all that rare... NASCAR Racing 2003 Season is aout as rare as a 2003 penny yet look at how much it sells for on ebay as a "rare" game

rare would be something like panzer dragoon saga for the sega saturn (if you ever see a copy cheap at a goodwill or rummage sale (anyone else will know better) buy it... even if you don't have the system you can sell it)

and BGDA2 for PS2 is not rare... it's ebay rare (which means it's not even close to rare but not too many people want it... just ebay morons who are taken in by all caps "RARE!!!!111")

I couldn't find it at any retail store near me, or reasonably priced new online, so to me that's rare :P

it seems people are looking at games as collecables now... sad day when sometihng produced in such abundance brings higher prices than my 1944 Izhevsk 91/30 of which only ~168,000 were made in that year and who knows how many were lost in the war, then how many were butchered by bubba gunsmith with his hacksaw and power drill

something tells me some of these games selling for nearly $100 have way more than 168,000 copies floating around out there... copies that didn't get used in a war

Except the games are still useful for entertainment, and don't sit in a case collecting dust as "artifacts of war".

mine doesn't sit in a case... it still functions and provides some entertainment for me and others at the range

Don't have Starfleet Command 3, but I do have ST: Armada if anyone wants to trade.

Yeah. Starfleet Command III I haven't been able to find anywhere for under $80. Really great game for those that want to command their own starship.
