I personally enjoyed the movie the most. The gradual build up to the story until they finally enter the stargate and its a completely new world made the first part of the movie really great for me. I like Richard Anderson, but he seems like more of a comedic character than one I would think of as responsible for a covert government operation and not so tough guyish which I liked about Kurt Russell and Michael Shanks seems more like a really smart hipster while James Spader seems better to fit the role of a maverick scientist with brilliant ideas that gets laughed at by all the other scientists. Well wanted to discuss which of the universes you liked better and why :).

Tough call, but I like Atlantis the best. I thought at first that it might be a little too sci-fi for my stargate tastes, but I've found the characters and situations to be really entertaining. They jury is still out on best enemy, though. On the one hand, the wraith are scarier looking, but on the other, you don't have some parasite controlling your body after they're through with you.

I've only seen the pilot of SG1, it was quite neat.

Maybe I should watch the rest of the series someday.

I've never seen Atlantis.

I hate Stargate. Especially the show.

the movie was great.

30% of SG1 is awesome, the rest is either great or so-so.

Atlantis is *almost* as good as SG1

I <3 SG-1 with the original tv show cast. RDA FTW.

The movie. I cannot stand the series. Even the creators of the movie hated it.

I love the movie.
Can't stand to watch SG1 for the rediculus, low-budget costumes and I haven't seen enough of atlantis to judge.

for some reason i never made the connection that James Spader was Daniel. Spader is awesome. one of my favorite actors. havent seen him in anything that was bad. and his character on boston legal is, well, awesome. i need to buy a thesaurus, or use the online one, but whatever. i dont feel like it.

Older SG1 was much better than newer SG1. RDA > Assface that took his place.

Overall, though, I'd say SG1 is best.

The only reason SG1 lasted as long as it did was because of:

A. Richard Dean Anderson

B. Conventional Firearms + Killing Aliens = Win (Also the Halo formula)

I'd say SG-1, then the movie, then Atlantis. Although Atlantis is growing on me. Not too far behind the movie at all.

Based on my limited viewing experience of both shows I like Atlantis better. SG-1 seems too much like grown men running around in the woods with toy guns.

Of course, I've never seen much SG-1 nor the movie.

Next week? I thought it wasn't until sometime in April.

They're airing in the UK. The Atlantis finale was almost two months ago. The eps are all on YouTube.

I like Atlantis because it seems to have a bit of a satire theme to it. I'd hate it if it didn't.

I've only seen the movie, and it was just after it came out on video, so I was like 8 or 9. I think I enjoyed it. Guess I'm not that much of a help.
