I disagreed a lot, and well... People don`t usually like, when someone opposes their points of view. Especially considering, that in the net, expertise areas are quite... fuzzy.

I am sorry I got incredibly pissed at you, but you should probably realise that in terms of physics and maths some of us here do that stuff for a living. There is a reason that planes don't just fall out of the sky, and that reason is that people like us know this stuff - and we are right. Things I say are not 'fuzzy' because I know my topics, and iIalso know my limits. You won't see me posting in the threads about infinte sums because despite having covered that at uni, it was 4 years ago and I've not practiced it: i am rusty.

When everyone is telling you that you're wrong, and we have evidence to back up our claims you should realise that you probably are wrong, that it is just you and learn from it, and get on with it. It's the only way to really learn.

Here's what I can tell you. Every now and then, someone comes along and disagrees with someone who obviously knows more about the given subject. This person is frequently Jon`C. You are fighting a losing battle in, what? Three threads?

I think you misunderstand the point of my disagreement.

I don`t really care, about how much Jon`C knows. As long as he presents his knowledge in polite and civil matter, I`d be happy to hear an informed opinion.

What I fervently disagree about, is the attitude. Talking down often irritates people. And Jon`C` complete disability to explain something in enticing way revolts me.

I argue with him, because I think he is a jerk. And I want to let him feel, what impression he has on others. He makes things personal and abusing just because he can`t handle the argument - therefore, I will argue with him until he will learn to treat people good. Or has a stroke - whichever comes first.

Simply because Jon`C uses a back tick in his name doesn't mean that it's proper punctuation in contractions.

I know everyone's picking on you and I feel bad for doing so as well, however the grammatical rules are, for the most part, logical for me, and your placement of commas was entirely illogical to me. That's not blindly following authority, that's having an understanding of several authoritative sources. Grammar can't be "right for you." You have to be able to understand the rules in order to say you speak a language. Otherwise, you speak your interpretation of a language, not the language itself.

No offense, but the only person you can "punish" by making a fool out of yourself is, well, yourself.
