Oh god how does one go about buying one of these things... well there's the $300,000 ones that show up on ebay every once in a while I guess...

You don't go about buying one. There is no way in hell you will be able to power it, and even if you DO power it, you'll probably knock it out of allingment first thing and blind yourself...

... no. It's 2.498kW more powerful... or roughly 1250x more powerful. Using simpleton math, which I'm sure isn't correct when measuring wavelengths of light.

Actually, to those of you arguing about how much more powerful it is, my laser is 2.4 watts, not 2 watts.

And yes, mounting a high-powered laser on a car is also one of my fantasies. You'd need a heck of an alternator though...
