...Untill stupid technical difficulties take it away.

I cant seem to get CD Audio. Which is really strange because the drive works fine and CD Player says the disk has tracks.

Help me! Total annihilation without music isn't as awesome as it could be.

to put it in simple terms, theres a wire between the cd drive and the sound card that you need for cd audio. check to see it exists.

Ahh! Yes its very possible i mis connected when i switched drives!

Or enable digital audio playback in the properties for the drive.

You don't need that anymore. As CM said, enable digital playback in the drive's properties.

Go to the drive's properties and turn on digital audio playback.
