Just got Jedi Knight, the audio book

Haven't listened to it yet, it's a few hours long. Looks very good, supposed to follow the game very closely. It even has John Williams music from the movies, and sound effects. Anyone else listen to this gem yet?

Did you get it on CD?

I have Soldier for the Empire, Rebel Agent, and Jedi Knight, all on CD, and I've read Rebel Agent and Jedi Knight.

They were pretty good. (the 3 books) Parallel to the cutscenes/game pretty well iirc.

Those are the two covers I could find on google images. Rebel agent is the first few levels, I can't remember where Jedi Knight takes place.

I have rebel agent somewhere, it was a good book, i think it goes through nar shadda and 8t88, not sure how much farther it goes though. It has a lot of the history of Morgan Katarn in it too, it's a good read.

If I'm correct, Rebel Agent covers some other stuff plus Nar Shaddaa/8t88 to Gorc and Pic, I think. Maw through Jerec (in terms of battles) are in Jedi Knight.

There were three books, however. I can't remember the other's name. It was barons hed and stuff.

I'm getting Rogue Agent now, wow, I almost skipped out on half the game? Thanks for all who told me that the other book had half the story, lol.

The books' names were soldier for the empire, rebel agent, and jed knight, iirc.

the same as the audio drama

both rock, but the audio dramas are a real gem, and upon repeated listenings are quite freaking hilarious

I have the first book; I remember it as being a pretty good read. Has a lot of Kyle Katarn back story, such as him meeting Jan Ors, etc. It also explains how he got into the Imperial base at the beginning of Dark Forces.

I think that the best aspect of the books is the artwork. The writing itself isn't really anything special, but there are some pretty cool pictures in those books.

Jedi Knight starts half way through the game JK i believe and Rebel Agent starts before JK and goes up to the point when Kyle is at Baron's Hed or something like that

The first parts are better IMO (the Pre-ANH part's that is)
