I don't see that as "so wrong", but it really depends on the case. Like, a 9-year old dating a 50-year old? YUCK!

It's not so different than dating your boss. It might be legal if your in college, but everyone is going to assume you got the A because you ****ed, not because you worked hard.
Wikissassi sucks.

My high school psychology teacher started dating one of my co-students immediately after final year exams were over. Last I heard they were happily married and had just had their first kid.

Whoah. Where did that link come from, and why does it look so different?

Anyway. I think its wrong to date a teacher, but I agree with the Spork story. As soon as you're done with the teacher part, you can date all you want.

Depending on a) what the teacher/tutor is teaching (i.e. tutor at course for adults or New Deal etc. and b) how old the tutor is. Its no big deal if it at college or some adult course (I.e New Deal courses, for the unemployed - don't poke fun, Im currently on one, well sort of) but at school? Er No.

Wait, can you still really call it the New Deal?

No its no real New Deal at all, its rather pointless as you are being told how to look for job and honestly thats what I been doing, but becasue I've been out of work for six months and think you are stupid and need help. Actully I've got a job, but because I don't start until Monday, the Job Centre (the Dole as some still call it) sent me on this blah, blah "New Deal" course, so it shows that they are doing a good service. I waste of time, paper, ink and human effort for something pointless. Its Britain what more can I say?

Its just bearucrats doing what they do best :)

Thats for bringing that my attention SMOCK!
Thanks :)

I aplologise for the explanation.

i dont think theres anything wrong with dating a teacher. in the older days u were married and started reasing kids at 13. many kings of europe took the throne at that age. i know people who dated people 25 years older than they were, and i say if ur happy, do it. when i think of dating some woman im her 40s or 50s as im still in my 20s, i cringe and almost gag, but just because i think its disgusting, doesn't mean i can prevent others from if there happy. i dont oppose to any union wherin both sides find joy. if for some twisted messed up reason i will never understand ur able to gat ur cock hard lookin at some 50 year old english teacher or whoever ur wierdo crush is on, then by all means do as u please. now from what the last posts siad, u had a post about this before that one, making this the third. so who is it that makes u ask these questions? are u the student or the teacher? u obviously have had this on ur mind for a bit so why not come clean and lay it on the table. who makes u struggle inside urself like this? be honest, im sure im not the only one who wants to know...

Well, I went ahead and voted no, but as others have said, this is a "depends" question. Considering it isn't ALWAYS wrong for a student to date a teacher (IMO), the logical answer to the question would be no.
