i urge you, please do not get vista. it is too early you should wait another year or two for the programmers to fix the bugs, im serious. stick with good old xp, its tried and true.

Hmm, do you mean that an additional 2GB RAM costs almost as much as the computer itself? But I think it's very well possible that a 2GB Dimm costs much more than 2 1GB Dimms, as they don't seem to be in high demand at the moment.
And even if that wasn't the case, I wouldn't find it hilarious, so I think that this is not what you mean.

its not over pricing because the good st.gates has put his sticker of approval on it by saying its the best for vista. and since he basically has the ability to buy right and wrong, if he says thats what u should have then dell feels justified in charging u out the *** for it.
