Maddox doesn't have one (yet?), Homestarrunner didn't seem to have one either....(yet?) Where is all the funny :(
Think while it's still legal.

Blizzard!

Blizzard always has the best April Fools jokes, this year is no different. There's the Tinfoil hat for those afraid of the armory stealing their essence. (Check out the names on all the screenshots >.>) The easy attunement chart for The Black Temple (Honestly, which server can't coordinate the killing of all the heroic bosses within 10 mintues of each other)

And I for one am looking forward to all the new adventures that exist in Heroes of Azeroth. It's got murlocs!

Finally a permanent solution for the hosting.

Today we announce that we're moving some of our servers to the North-Korean Embassy in Stockholm, Sweden.

After lenghty discussions with the leader of North Korea Kim Jong-Il we have decided to start a cooperation.

Some of the reasons are the extremely good bandwidth agreement we get - redundant fibre links, redundant power with diesel to last for four years makes the colocation a very good deal for us.

We are also promised immunity against foreign copyright holders and all of the crew will get North Korean citizenships.

"One of the reasons that we're doing the move is also that the Swedish King still haven't granted us a visit with his daughter. This ignorance towards the cultural benefits of having a site like The Pirate Bay can not be ignored." says Tiamo, one of the founders of The Pirate Bay.

We would like to thank Kim Jong-Il for the opportunity and we would like all of our users to review their current feelings towards this great nation!

WoW seems to be doing a fine job. We know where all the major characters are (Except for folks in northrend) and it's focusing on the smaller stuff that you don't hear much about in the RTS games (Such as the black dragonflight and molten core people waring each other)

Darn, it seems that for some sites, the fact that this day is also the day of the WWE's "Wrestlemania" event has stifled their use of the day for other, more productive, reasons.

Huh. I remember that, but I also remember that it went right over my head; I will admit I rarely register the date if it's only "3-31." :P

This April tomfoolery probably stopped being even remotely amusing when they decided to make it a holiday.

Hell, I thought it was pretty lame when I was like 5.

Some of my friends fell for the Google TiSP and gmail paper things, and they're CS majors.

My only gripe with April 1st is it's hard to figure out sometimes which news posts are real and which are jokes.

For example, a full version of OS X was demonstrated as being installed on an Apple TV yesterday, and a lot of people didn't believe it.
2007-04-02, 11:53 PM #32
Or EMI's move to DRM-free music. At first I didn't believe that either.

Jedi Academy was also anounced on April, 1st.

Duke Nukem 3D's source code was also released on April 1st. All it took was a download to see if it was legit and it was :P
