What point, dare I ask? That's a waste of time to arrest and attempt to rehabilitate drug users? That it's cool to stab cops?

Neither do I. That would really, really suck.

Having once had Evercrack flowing through my veins when I was a young un and having felt bloodlust and an urge to hold the pumping heart of the person responsible whenever I got disconnected on my 56k, I'd advise against goading people who are physically addicted to a substance.

Or maybe I'm just a monster and druggies are jolly ol' chums.

lol wut?

I used to be addicted to Everquest and I got really angry at my ISP whenever I got disconnected. If my mere psychological addiction is any indication, a physical addiction, which is in many ways a deeper, stronger addiction, might result in a similar, or even more acute, violent reaction. Ergo, I would advise against pulling pranks upon these drug users to prevent such a violent reaction.

Or maybe I simply have unnatural sociopathic visualizations, and drug users are, in contrast, generally nice people.

I KNOW THIS POST IS LONG, AND MOST OF YOU MAY SKIP OVER IT IF YOU WISH, I ONLY ASK THAT "GRANT" GIVE IT HIS CONSIDERATION AND TIME.

Well, other than the fact that i have no idea how a person could compare a video game to a drug, this is basically what i tried to say with my first post. If you read back through this thread youll find it pretty easy too desipher between the people who have actually done this ****, and the people who havn't. You should NOT be taking advice from those who have never been subjected to this kind of atmosphere before.

I have been seeing all kinds of post on here like:

Quote:
You HAVE to **** with these people and film it. Youtube viral video? Yes.

I cant believe what I'm hearing

and i have to say that these are some pretty stupid ideas (normally i would not blatently attack somebodys post like this, but when it comes to crack heads, stupid is dangerous). If youve noticed, everybody here who has admitted to having done these things is against this idea. That is because if you have met a crack head for any period of time longer than just seeing one on the street you know that you should not **** with them.

And you should definately NOT video tape them. I am not going to mention any names, but when i was still on this stuff i saw a couple of guys get the living hell kicked out of them because earlier in the day the crack head got a wierd look from somebody at wal-mart while he was high. the crack head had been rippping the store off for some cash, but i wont go into the details to spare the length of this already long text, and some employee supposedly gave him a wierd look. after it was told to myself and the others back where we were getting high it got escalated farther and farther by the paranoid using rediculous methods of logic that no sober man could have heard and not laughed at, and in the end we somehow came to the conclusion that a few people (who probobly didn't even know the employee) were involved, with no real evidence of any kind to back it up. just straight up mob mentality and cracked-out paranoia.

Though i was not there for the actually ***-kicking, two of those three people ended up in the hospital, and if the third had not gotten away and called the cops in time they may all have been dead. those crackheads are fortunately in jail now, but this was just a case of a half dozen people who heard about a look. if you are caught actually taping a crack head buying crack they will go ape**** on you.

I cant make you do anything or not do anything, but i urge you with all sencerity to READ ALL THE POSTS ON THIS THREAD VERY CAREFULLY. It will be easy to tell apart the people who have good advice for you from actuall worldly experiance on the matter, who are trying to WARN YOU of what you are getting into, and those who just like the funny post about druggies and want to tell you what they think would make them laugh.

You might pull it off and get a good chuckle, but you might also get yourself hurt. you should really think about this before you do something dumb. please dont think im posting this to sound like a know-it-all or just to get my two cents in, i want you to know the real gravity of what your plotting here.

For some people, drugs become their entire lives.

You might not like it, you might not respect it, but please accept that you have absolutely no ****ing idea whatsoever what it is like.

For a lot of things, "I don't understand" is by far the most sensible judgement you can make.

I don't understand what it's like to have my life consumed by drugs, but I know what it's like to live with someone who has.

If you note the tone of the first version, you can see I was comparing it rather jokingly--however, psychological addiction, which people have towards many varied sources, such as video games, is just as legitimate as physical dependence, and for many people their drug addiction has a large psychological component.

One of my points is I wasn't nearly as addicted as some drug users, and taking my single case where I became frustrated when the obsessed object (Everquest) was suddenly taken away (disconnected), I posit, assuming my psychology is indicative of any general model of human psychology, that the frustration would be tenfold if the drug users, some of whom are consumed by addiction, are purposefully teased with their obsessed object. Even if not every drug user calling is a major addict, or if not every one of them would react violently to being teased, it's still a fair risk to put yourself as a potential target for violent reaction.

Joker makes blanket assumptions! Yay!

I said he should youtube it, and I'm certainly not unaccustomed to drugs, and hard drug addicts.

Here's what you do: Tell them there will be a drop somewhere near your house (Or if you live in a suburb, go to a mcdonalds and tell him it's across the street from it.) and stash a note in a paper bag with confettee in it. The note will read "We have you surrounded. Lay on the ground with your hands on the back of your head." The phone convorsation and the drug retreival will all be on tape. Then you call the police and tell them you've got a druggy trying to solicit drugs from you on the phone so you called him out to a place and he should be picked up.

Golden moments abound.

Nah, I agree with what one poster said about bringing in the cops, it's kinda useless to go after one when their could be better spent looking for someone higher up or more important things.
