As FGR and mb knows, I have been randomly banned from IRC last Saturday I believe from ZiRC (klined). None of us know why I was banned. I was chatting away in "the secret channel that cannot be named but makes tea" to mb, about to ask him how some website thing worked, then bam!

I'm pretty sure FGR was dancing around and mb was all like o.O

Anyways, I have e-mailed ZiRC three times now, all of which have not been replied to.

So, post your IRC moments you had, be it bans or funny things, or STOYA.

Odd. You probably have a similar hostmask to someone else.

I'll never forget the time Brian got banned from some huge network (EFnet?) because he linked to www.deusex.com in the help channel and someone thought it was "do sex."

I was like o_O and mb did whatever.

Also, in 2002 I was banned because of apparently posting some hardcore porn in #massassi. Yet the same day I changed my nick to FGR_Union and Gris to Gris_Confederacy and then we spammed a lot and someone told us to stop. Of course, I ended up changing my nick back to FastGamerr and few minutes after back to FGR_Union, so I wrote something like "/me goes to hell and regroups!" and then got banned.

For years I thought that was the reason I got banned, but after discovering the real ban reason I remembered that I linked to my web1000 site the same day, and web1000 most of the time redirected to porn sites. I guess it makes sense now.

And now that I remember it, I posted a thread here like "hey guys lol my site leads to pr0n" and the thread was just deleted. Good times.
