Too many threads today, but I gotta know, does anybody know if we'll get to see Season 3 of Dr. Who here in the US?

Actually, in the original Dr. Who, his name really was "Who". it was the same way in the movie as well. Personnaly, ive never gotten into the newer ones. I did watch the older ones alot in the middle of the night when there was nothing else on, and they were not half bad despite having worse graphics than an Iggy cartoon.

I loved the movie though, and i would recomend it to anybody who is a dr. Who fan.

Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

the movie was awful, and he was only called doctor who in the end credits of the show never during an episode.

it was is and always will be "The Doctor."
My girlfriend paid a lot of money for that tv; I want to watch ALL OF IT. - JM

Though in my mind, the credits give it enough justice to be true, i will not argue with you. You are obviously a fan of the show and that suits me just fine. But you are a fool to not apreciate the movie, it was classic, and it featured Will Sasso back before anybody even knew who he was, if only for a moment.

He's only ever referred to as The Doctor, hence The Master only ever being referred to as The Master. Apparently all Timelords are referred to by titles. Although I'm fairly sure there was the odd Timelord in the old ones.

Anyway, Tennant is my favourite Doctor of the lot, his performance is just amazing. :P And I'd say Eccelston was on par with Baker.
nope.

I agree about Tennant's performance; it's excellent. However, Baker will always be the Doctor to me. I didn't think Eccleston was as good Baker either. But you know, with so many Doctors, there's lots of opinions.

I quite like the new companion too actually.

One wee thing - You should check out Tennant in any interview he does on tv. It's just weird to hear him with his real accent. :P

And Rose cried enough tears to create an oil slick and endanger the local wildlife. =D

I dunno. XD Rose was too much of a Chavvy Sue to make me like her much... it doesn't help that I first saw her in the Christmas Invasion where her actions consisted of moping, sulking, pouting AND complaining about the current situation.
