After too many 8am classes, I fixed my schedule..
2004-07-19, 4:37 AM #1
Fall 2002: Classes M-F started at 8am.

Summer A 2004: Classes M-F..8am.
Summer B 2004: Classes M-F..8am.

I have a 30 minute drive and usually/often work nights (x-10pm, x-11pm, etc), so 8am comes earlier than I'd like.

However, I realized the other day that since I'm not available to work until 11:30, I usually catch a later shift..starting at 2pm at the earliest. Once in a while, I'd get an 11:30 or 12, but not too often..so I fixed my fall '04 schedule:

Tuesday/Thursday:
ENC2210 (Technical Writing) 8am-9:15am
CJT2100 () 9:25am-10:40am

Monday/Wednesday/Friday:
PSC2121 lab 9am (MONDAY ONLY)
PSC2121 (General Physical Science) 11am-11:50am
MAC1105 (College Algebra) 12n-12:50pm

I get to sleep in 3 days a week! w00t! [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

I'm taking 12 credit hours while working 30+ hours per week..if you're not working, or not working much, you should be fine.

I took 18 hours back in '02, but most of it was incredibly easy (general psychology, music fundamentals..etc).

How can you guys have classes spread out every two-three hours -- are you living on campus or something?
I need all my classes clumped together so I can still work..lol

Man I used to hate early morning classes. One semester I had mostly lectures from 5-7pm, that was sweet.

It's weird, after leaving school my brain just sorta stopped working between 5am and 11am. Anyone else have this problem?

I love the early morning classes. My teaching timetable for this semester is Mon-Thur 8am-11am and Friday 8-11, 12-2. It beats having classes later in the day as it now means I can get more of my own work done.
