That reputation system is such a bad idea. It's fun for a while when people are like "SIR, HOW DARE YOU INSULT ME! I DEDUCT YOU ONE POINT!" but it gets ugly fast.

thats because you guys dont get how to use reputation because youre all children i guess. it works fine on plenty of other forums; reputable posters get lots of rep, and posters who frequently suck and tear people down get negative rep.
its not for personal attacks or vendettas but i know you all are incapable of using it otherwise, so i've turned it off again. maybe next year?

Look, I don't care about having reputations and that crap. I just don't think you should randomly start turning on stuff. At least let MBeggar, or me know about it. If you had done that perhaps all three of us could make a case for reputations being good. MB and I always talk over potential forum changes.

Just to clarify, this isnt shacknews. what works there probably wont work here for the simple fact thtat we're a different community.
