Woohoo! Now we -ians who don't live in Europe can have a chance to play this beta. I've heard mixed opinions on this game, but I want to give it a whirl. Let's face it, LotR is awesome, and MMO's are generally pretty fun, so how could they go wrong with this?

*Note: I don't know if this was just for me, but I had a problem entering in my validation code when using Firefox, I switched to Internet Excrapper and it worked.

Beware; they said the same thing about Star Wars Galaxies.

Just released eh?

Then how come I've been playing it for the last week? :colbert:

It's a pretty good game from what I can see so far. Graphics are pretty awesome, quests aren't to repetitive, and leveling isn't to hard. Traveling around in the game can get pretty tedious though. :saddowns:

Tried the Beta, didn't really like it.

I just got a key in my e-mail for like no reason.

I'll try it out, even though I don't care for LOTR.

It's average.

Although I love the Minstrel class, mainly because of how stupid it is. I kill goblins by making their ears bleed with my lute playing... Yeah.

Oh man, if there's a class like that I might have to give er a try. We have tons of beta key CDs in the back room at work.

I've got a capped lvl 15 Minstrel on Brandywine. The game is fun, and is a refreshing change from the grindfest that most MMOs have gotten to be. But travel and crafting are both a pain in the ***.

To be honest, I really like the game so far, in fact I'm thinking about getting the pre-order special monthly fee of $9.99 monthly as opposed to the standard 14.99 it'll be when it actually comes out. Currently I'm a dwarf from the Iron Hills, and I am level 10. :D

I just got everything set up, but all of the servers are showing as closed. ****.

I like EQ2 better, even though it rips off LotR stuff with places like the "Baubleshire" and the "halfling" race.

It wouldn't take much for me to like something more than WoW.
