The Buried Secret of M. Night Shyamalan

I just finished watching it on SciFi. Simply incredible. If this is fake (which I can't quite bring myself to believe), it has to be one of the most elaborate hoaxes in the history of television. If not...It could very well change the way people look at the supernatural. So if you've seen it, post your reactions, if not, then you probably won't understand any of what I just said. But anyway, definately watch it if you get the chance. Probably one of the strangest "documenteries" you'll ever see.

Haven't seen it, but just googled it for info. All I have to say is: oh look, The Village is out in a week or so!

Ok, apparently it is a hoax.

Essentially, the "secret" was that Shyamalan's movies were actually some sort of twisted autobiography. According to the show, he fell through the ice on a pond, and technically died (Unbreakable), but was revived 35 minutes after he fell in. Consequently, he is now able to see and communicate with the dead (Sixth Sense). During the time after he fell into the pond, his family lived in a house identical to the one in Signs (complete with complementary corn field).
BUT! I would still suggest watching it. It does end up a little cheesy, but it does make you think, if only just a little.

Judging from Village previews, his farm house must've had a really bad bug problems.

After seeing his "first horror movie" on the Signs special features, there's no way I'm about to believe any of that. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

It had its moments, but I became bored with the acting, and couldn't bring myself to watch the entire thing. It reminded me of The Blair Witch Project.

M. Night Shyamalan Primary Scare Tactic

1. Silence
2. Followed by unbelievably loud screeching noise with bass and change of camera view
3. Followed by realization that the character just opened a cupboard
