Well, after Symantec failed me I decided to delete it and I'm using AVG at the moment.

So I have $80 and I'm deciding over Kaspersky and McAfee.

Any other suggestions?

I haven't spent a dollar yet on anti-virus software. And, in all my years, I never got a virus.

Neither of those are anti-virus applications. Those are malware removers.

I don't use Windows much, so I didn't feel like spending cash on security software. Avast! anti-virus and Sygate Personal Firewall work great for me, for free.

I usually suggest Kaspersky Internet Security to my clients, however. It's a great piece of software.

I've not had any problems with PC-Cillin (then again, I never had any real problems with Norton, either).

Under Vista, I use avast!

True, forgot about that. Avast, PC-Cillin 2007, Norton 2007, Norton 360 and McAfee 2007 all play well under Vista.

Eh? There's nothing wrong with Avast and PC-Cillin.

PC-Cillin is a great AV. I don't know what you (think) you're talking about.

Funny, because all I hear is about how much it sucks, never anything good.

Well, then, here's something good:

It's kept my systems safe so far.

PC Cillin is good, imo, better than most AV's
