aren't xenomorphs supposed to be a shiny black color?

I remember that the chestburster was brown in both alien and aliens.

Yeah those things are sick. I saw one running across the floor once and I grabbed it up with a paper towel and it squirmed out and jumped back onto the floor, and then when I opened up the paper towel there were like 10 legs still stuck in there and they were all wriggling around... I almost flipped out.

Now I can finally put a name to my least favorite insect, the Cave Centipede. Those things freak me out so much it's not even funny.

I took these in my backyard. I go hunting for them once or twice a week with a blowtorch. On a good night I get 5 this size, sometimes I get none. One night I got 13

They arent as "scary" as all these other pics, but hey, at least I took them myself! [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Dash, where do you live? I kept one as a pet once, as it crawled into my mother's shoe when we were in Arizona. It ended up multiplying, though... so we froze her. She sits over my computer now, with her sack of egs pooring with babies, and in the jar next to her, a crapload of babies overtaking a cricket, inanimate. We put the cricket in their with them, just to see what would happen. The babies all attacked the cricket, and had already started consuming him. The mother was eating the egg-sack, but not the babies.

I love spiders, but like someone else said: I'm disgusted by bugs.

Concord, California. 30 miles east of San Francisco. Black widows are pretty common around here in the summer, I have no idea if they are throughout the US or where they are common and where they are not. All I know is we got em' here and the most effective way to kill em is with a self igniting propane torch.

I also use it for wolfspiders now too, I used to stomp them, but one time I stomped one that had a hundred babies on its back, and when the mommy died I could see all the microscopic babies scattering in all directions on my carpet. I had no way of killing them, so now when I see one I just roast it and all the babies fall right off dead next to the mom. I find em trapped in my pool all the time.

Fire = effective *points to WW2* 'nuff said.

I don't mind bugs, but I'm not too fond of spiders.

Here in Arizona we get lots of Black Widows and big Wolf Spiders. I don't get scorpions at my house though, never have...
