Whats a good free virus scanner? I'm trying to get my comp cleaned up. I already have AVG but does anybody else recomend anything?

AVG is the only free one worth a damn, and it'd be a long, long stretch to call it "good". There's none that are that great that are free, but housecall is what I use when I scan (bi-monthly, usually). http://housecall.trendmicro.com

Works really well.

I run AVG for two reasons: I don't care to use Norton that my school provides and AVG is on the list of accepted anti-virus programs allowed through Cisco Clean Access. I was running Avast before AVG.
