Transformers: The Movie (1986)

I got this movie about a week ago, and have watched it 3 times since. I saw it back when I was 6 years old so I remembered a couple of things, but today I just find it awesome, with the 80's rock music mixed in with robot fighting action and pretty damn cool animation.. I'm ready for the live action one to come out now.

That reminds me... I had a Starscream figure back when I was 6 or 7 and it up and disappeared on me one day. I wish I knew what happened to it. He was my favorite because he was a fighter jet.

I had that freaking huge jumbo Optimal Optimus toy way back in the day. Eh ended up breaking it later on by seeing if it could fly.

I never really got into the original Transformers.

My cousin introduced me to Beast Wars when I was 9 by buying me a Cheator figure. It was one of the Fuzorz(I think?). I never really got a chance to see much of the show, only like.. 4 episodes, but it distantly reminded me of DragonBall Z.

I am looking forward to the live action movie to come out.

Does anyone know if the transformers talk in this new movie?

I walked into a GAME shop the other day and The Touch was playing over the P.A. I just burst out laughing and everyone else around me was too young to understand why :(

Thats so sad, the Transformers Movie Soundtrack should be up there with Abbey Road, Exile on Main Street, Dark Side of the Moon, Nevermind and Houses of the Holy.

I've had the movie for about 3 or 4 years on dvd, my older brother had it when we were younger and I think between us we must have watched it 10's of times. I try to get people to watch it now but anyone who didn't watch transformers when they were younger just doesn't "get" the film.

Man, I use to worship this movie when I was a kid. Gotta love the music :) So sad how they killed off Prime though. His death was so sad for many kids that Mattel was forced to bring Prime back to life later in the 3rd season of the show.

BTW, anyone looking foward to the live action transformers movie coming out this summer? It looks promising but so far I can't stand the look of the transformers so far and the fact that Michael Bay is directing it kinda has me worried about how good it'll be.

Sorry, I havent owned a console or handheld since Sega Genesis... Until my friend just gave me his PS2 a few months ago, and I've spent a total of maybe 2 hours playing it since then.
