To keep it short and sweet, I have a new job, and will be moving out soon. With this comes the daunting task of obtaining new furniture to fill the empty void that will be my new apartment. Do any of you have suggestions for places to get cheap, decentish furniture? Lightly used is fine, but I'd like to avoid thrift stores/garage sales since I'd just like the convenience of getting what I need then instead of hit and miss. Thanks in advance for any help the Massassian community has!

Most of the bargain places are going to be thrift stores and garage sales.

Big Lots? It's a shame you don't live here...every time I move, people are begging to give me their old crap.

If you are in larger area, Craigslist can work, but that's more for used junk.

Afraid Craigslist won't work, moving to a fairly small city.

Get some friends, go around the state answering craigslist ads and getting free couches.

Yeah, they ship if they aren't in your area either.

Always sorta fun to put together as well.
