i hate these kind of movies, boy meets girl, they fall in love, they have sexytime. "something" happens, they have a big fight. girl leaves, boy becomes emo. and boom, motion picture of the year.

everytime a movie like this is made god kills a baby seal.

At first I thought this movie was going to be about The Beatles, heh. Some of the scenes from that trailer did, however, look somewhat interesting.

I saw it a while ago. Spook was obsessed with the trailer for a few weeks so I saw it a bunch when I hung out with him.

I suppose it's going to be like Moulin Rouge! but with all Beatles songs. I wouldn't mind seeing it. Some parts look crazy psychedelic :awesome:

It looked moderately interesting, then halfway through the trailer it gets all hippie stoned drugged out psychodelic artsy fartsy and incredibly stupid.

It just seems like a cash-in on the Beatles, an extended commerical for the soundtrack. I cringed when it was revealed that the character's name is Jude (I love the Beatles, and I love "Hey Jude," but I'm not so much a fan of cheesy cash-ins).

but amazingly enough, this actually looks pretty decent.

Yeah, that bothered me, too. But, this movie definitely has me interested.
