Is this just a power toy for dual monitor use?

Since I have my laptop sorta docked at the desk I'm using both my desk monitor and the laptop monitor. It heats up more with the lid down anyways.

Is there a tool that will give the second monitor it's own taskbar? I kind of don't like all this other stuff sitting in my task bar. :P

Rob- Ultramon gives you the secondary taskbar.

And yea, Switcher rocks :D

Well, what exactly does Switcher do?

I'm new to this. :P

Does it do hot corners? That's what really makes Exposé work for me. You just wong your mouse down to (for instance) the bottom left corner, then swing back to the window you want. So quick and simple!

Yes!

Judging by the screenshots, it works like Exposé on OSX or Scale in Compiz on Linux. It scales down your open windows and arranges them so you can see them all. When you click on one, they all return to normal, but with the window you clicked on in focus.

Yeah, it's a fantastic way of switching windows. Switcher is rather customizable, too. Some people have reported unstable behavior, but I have seen none so far.

lol, when I switch the tile view is about 1 square inch in size.

Can you go to the corners to make it go to tile view like you can in expose?

Well I didn't read the whole thread. This is clearly your fault.

meh, whoopie. It always made sense on OSX since, you know, there isn't really a task bar and the Dock can get cluttered FAST depending on what else you have down there, but in Windows... you have a taskbar, and Alt-Tab has always worked fine for me.

Then again I don't leave 50 billion windows open at once because I can't stand the clutter, so I can see how it'd be useful for some.

Yeah, how should you see the thread when mb is sitting on it!

On topic: Somehow I never came to like Exposé. Always preferred Alt+Tab.
Sorry for the lousy German

There was already Windows-Tab which was pretty cool in Vista.

Yea but its horribly inefficient.
