I took one of my NES apart, when putting it back together dont forget that big metal piece. Otherwise the thing overheats and like gets hot and not working.

I've taken mine apart several times... Once I ended up with a spare piece of something or another... Ironically, it worked much better after that. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

The internal pin connector thing was all worn out. I smashed it together because it was worn out to the point where if one side of the game board was making contact, the other side couldnt. Smashing it with pliars made the fit much tigher solving the problem. Then i just jammed a game into it (the game is just hanging there in the pin connector) and it works flawlessly.

Hey, as long as it works I dont give a **** how it looks. It hasnt worked in its normal state for years, and now it does. Im happy I was bored and decided to dig it up [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

I and a friend are currently in the process of throwing a hard drive on his. Going to save the games. I just realized... has anyone else ever done it, and do they have information for those of us trying?

It must be possible to extract the data in some ways, because otherwise all those ROMs on the internet would be line by line copies of games, and not duplicates (if you see what I mean).

So woowoo for good ideas!

Wewt! In general theory, that's what our plans looked like, mostly. We had a few different parts here and there, but for the most part, we wouldn't have run into much trouble. Although, we were going to add a keyboard, and a new case.

It could have been a typo...

Well, I thought the same thing too. I'm posessed.
