Should I get a...

I'm contemplating between these four vehicles. Just wondering what you guys think and if you have any personal opinions if you own any of these cars...

2007-05-08, 9:16 AM #2
The Civic has the highest reliability of those four according to consumer reports...

Civic. Definately. I've had a few of them. The engine is strong as hell, you can't break it. Technically it's brilliant. Then again, the body may rust pretty fast..

All of those cars suck.

None of the above. Save yourself an astronomical amount of money by simply repairing a used car when it needs it.

Out of that list I'd go for the Mazda 3, but make sure you get the MPS.

Fords, Hummers, Chevrolets.

Ok, something like one mile to the gallon, bad materials.

nope.

American cars pretty much suck.

Dodge makes some decent cars/trucks, that's about it.

-Corolla - VERY noisy 4 banger, sounds like a piece of junk
-Civic - Reliable
-Nissan - Too big :-p
-Mazda 3 - Go for this one.

The new Mustang is the only American car Id consider right now.

Even then youd need to get it from a tuner so it doesnt suck.

You shouldn't get a civic unless you have the willpower to resist the urge to rice it.

Ford GT.

It's $200,000, very limited release, made entirely of European parts.... But it's made by Ford!

If only american auto-makers had dumped their money in R&D instead of lobbyists and hadn't allowed their unions to make ridiculous demands then maybe they wouldn't be behind asian and european competitors.

The Honda or the Toyota will last the longest. The Mazda doesn't look completely toyish.

Saleen S7 Twin-Turbo and Corvette Z06. Both lookers and both damn quick.

That said there are a good 50-60 cars I'd have before either of these...

It depends highly on the used car and how well you take care of it. My used car, while pretty damn cheap when I bought it, probably now costs what a cheap new car might go for because of all the repairs, not to mention that it'll NEVER pass emissions here, so $500 pretty much has to go down the drain every 2 years to get a waiver.
