Yeah... they announced like, six months ago, that S4 would be the last.

Also, this isn't a bad thing. It's been really awesome, and if they give it a terminating date a whole season in advance, then:

A) It won't drag out until it gets bad.
B) They can write the episodes more effectively, without having to use filler episodes.
C) They can conclude storylines in a timely manner, without ignoring some and hastly wrapping up others.

Besides, this is nothing like Firefly. Firefly was dragged into the back yard and executed before its time. This is a graceful, planned death.
