Jesus... that's such a bizarre situation... what with the previous run in of the officer and the shooter, and the pepper-spray after the second stop... and then the ex-marine who shot the shooter. Gah.

My uncle lives about half a mile away from where this happened, and I guess the cop was pretty crooked, harassing the kid for years. It still sucks, Nobody should have died.
Think while it's still legal.

That's pretty awesome that the dude picked up the officer's gun and gunned down the shooter.

A lot of departments switched over to .45 because 9mm doesn't have the knock-down power some departments want.

We carry .357Sig. I believe .40 is the most common now.

The .45 colt is pretty well standardized. It's about 50/50 whether the cops will have a colt or one of those custom 9mm glock models. Every department has to buy it's own weapons. In LA, they've got assault rifles!

This is just one more example of why marines are awesome.

The fact that it's Bode Miller's cousin just makes the whole thing even more bizarre.
If you think the waiters are rude, you should see the manager.
