On a related note, this was in the 'similar videos' box. Apparently, these people only eat raw meat.

Like, wtf? We've evolved not to eat red meat raw. That's why we have such pathetic mastication facilities.
Wikissassi sucks.

Anyone else think "JAWS" with the music and lady in the beginning? It was as if the fat woman, like a hungry beast underwater, was coming closer and closer to attack her victims with stupidity, the terrifying teeth of retardation.

Conviction isn't retardism.
2007-05-14, 2:31 PM #17
Nor are conviction and retardism mutually exclusive. In this case, they're far from it.

All God-fearing Christians know tarot is a trade of witches, and witches are in league with Satan.

Any practice or thing that gets supernatural power from any source other than God, is considered evil in Christianity.

But I don't really get it. Was the other family Buddhist or Pagan or what?

My dog eats raw meat and is very healthy.

:)

But seriously, eating raw is better for your immune system. But obviously if lived for 20 years on cooked meat, raw meat is going to make you sick. And vice versa apparently.

Also, eating raw meat makes grown men cry like little girls.

I mean, I guess because you're being presented a whole lot more disease you'd have more immunity to some bugs but... that is seriously not without consequence.

Hell, there are sequelae of many infections are bad, bad, even if you clear them. From Rheumatic Fever to Guillian-Barre, there are tons and tons of post infective syndromes. It's sorta like a retarded method of vaccination. There's a reason not all vaccines are the same, ranging from small amounts of the infective agent, parts of a killed pathogen, to just toxins the agent produces (a la tetanus).

Seriously, it's a bad idea to eat raw meat. Loading yourself with food borne infections in hopes of stronger immunity against them...

And you don't want too strong an immune system. In horridly simple terms 'stronger' immune system = more auto immune diseases. There exists cross reactivity between human 'antigens' and antibodies versus pathological antigens.

It may not kill you outright, but I don't see it aiding anyone.

Addendum: As far as pets eating raw meat, this came up on google and is easy to read: http://www.belfield.com/article11.html

Eh, just an opposing viewpoint. I'm not going to hold a strong opinion on that. (On further reading, the guy's a Linus Pauling supporter... 5000 grams of vit C and all that. Well, he is a licensed vet at least...)

There's a lot of debate about raw diets for pets. I can only say that our breeder friend swears by it, and that the only time we've had problems with it was when we weened our dog from the diet his breeders had him on (which was really gross btw). Also: his breath doesn't smell like death like kibble-fed dogs we've had in the past. And with all the pet food recalls lately...
