Guild Wars Faction is probably the worst of the three campaigns because its so short. Prophecies is the best so far, although the PvE campaign is a bit long.

I already have both prophecies and factions but not nightfall as of yet. I'm hoping to get nightfall during the summer so I would have some to do during the month of august.

I liked Nightfall the best, but Prophecies was classic. Factions I didn't like at first, but I came back to it cause I realized I paid for it and I need to get my money's worth.

Awhile ago I bought both the original and factions. Dear God, how do people play that game? Maybe I should I have grit my teeth and gotten through it, but the beginning was so incredibly boring. And what is with the running animations?

I've beated the first 2 campaigns over 3 times already I've completed prophecies with my warrior, elementalist, and monk and beaten factions with those same characters plus a ritualist (who I deleted later since ritualists are boring to play). I also have a ranger that needs to do the last two missions of factions and is almost done with the crystal desert part of prophecies.

BTW, in case anyone hasn't played in a long time, Anet had released a few weeks a new game mode called "Hard Mode" which allows players to replay the campaigns at a harder setting once they completed the campaign and are level 20. The AI in this mode is ridiculously harder (they attack 33% faster, cast 50% faster, run 25% faster, and recharge their skills 50% faster) and are levels 22-30. They also have some really nasty elite skills equipped and will kite and run out AoE attacks much sooner than in normal. The incentive to do hard mode is that it nets you way more experience and gold and the quality of the items dropped are much higher (they nerfed the drop rate in normal mode so you have to do hard mode to get better items).

The PvE is pretty boring but the real fun is in the PvP game. Joining a guild that is part of an alliance allows you to play Alliance Battles, which can be pretty fun since it's 12v12 and an easy source of faction.

At what point did I say it had anything to do with figuring out the mechanics of the game? Go back to your corner.

Agreed with everything you said. Somehow I can't really get into hard mode; I guess it's because it's still the same mission that I have done countless time with the exception that the enemies received a steroid boost.

PVP was ok for a while, but it got old fast. PVE was.. well it got old fast.
