I've seen several of these types of videos. If you take the time, even MSPaint is quite powerful.

MSPaint isn't powerful no matter how much time you take.

I could go pixel by pixel and make a detailed, photo realistic picture of the grand canyon if I wanted, and I had the patience. That doesn't mean MSPaint is powerful.

I <3 mspaint.

It's not MSPaint that's awesome, it's that guys talent.

indeed. that's like saying a BB gun is as powerful as an m16, because if you "have the patience" you could probably kill someone with a BB gun, just like you can with an m16.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

Either way, it's impressive to watch.

Humm. Seeing how he did it makes me want to try it. But I lack the patience.
My blawgh.

Quite clever, but it goes to show how good MSPaint is - however its still far behind the wonders of PSP (Paint Shop Pro) :).

That was awesome.

We discussed earlier in the thread how MSPaint is, in fact, not good.

Yeah. The power of Microsoft Paint compared to say, Corel Painter, is about analogous to the power of a BB gun compared to a nuclear powered rail gun.

It's not the medium that makes the artist.

Who are you to say he's wasting his life? You've never spent your time making something pointless? At least he's exercising his artistic talent.

What a waste of a post.

Rob's life is clearly so unfulfilled that he must belittle the achievements of others. :v:

There are a some other videos like this one out there - I've seen one of a really nice picture of a car, and another of a photo-real picture of an iPod. MSPaint might not have all the bells and whistles of other imaging utilities, but the results can be fairly impressive in capable hands.

Maybe bashing people is Rob's artistic talent?
