I’m looking forward to how, on the day Starcraft 2 is released, all those Korean’s who spend all day playing MMO’s will log off, and let the rest of us play in peace for once….

I’m a bad person and I know it, I just had to say it. (what’s worse, I don’t even play any MMO’s right now)

Remember when we had a thread with almost 200 replies on the main page?

Yeah, that was awesome.

I bet that korean guy that died after playing Starcraft for 50 hours straight is cursing himself right now for not waiting for Starcraft 2. What a shame, lol.

I'm looking forward to the cutscenes and single-player mode the most.

Single-player action for the most part, with some players-versus-computers action. I rather liked the storyline from StarCraft.

Story and cutscenes.

And of course new LAN-action. Finally we'll be able to play StarCraft with more than 8 players.

I wonder if the hero units will be similar to WC3. I kind of hope so.

I'm not looking forward to it at all. I'm tired of Blizzard getting away with making the same game over and over again.

We'll have to organize some games when this comes out.

I haven't played an RTS online in YEARS.

I'm slightly afraid. I lost a large part of my life to starcraft, and that was when it was already old and outdated

Over and over again? You mean like, once? Warcraft II and Starcraft are the only two Blizzard games that are even remotely alike in terms of gameplay dynamics, and even they are vastly different.

EDIT: In fact, I don't even know what the hell I was talking about with the "they've only done it once". Every game is unique.

I have no English source, but it's already been confirmed that there won't be heros like in WC3.
And thank god for that. Heros are nice, but StarCraft has always been about massive armies and not single strong units. Even off the strong units you always build at least 12.

What's nice is that you'll be able to select more than 12 Units now.

There is technically the protoss mothership, of which you can build only one. They said there would be no direct analog in the other species though.

Right, but there are no "Hero" units like in WCIII, where they can level and gain different abilities, etc.

I'm sure they'll still have the superimportant 'hero' units which are just powerful.

I actually forgot about the hero's leveling up in WC3. I was talking about a way to revive them if they get killed on accident.

I'm waiting for the hype to die down so I don't have to see thousands of Starcraft threads on every board I visit.

Except, you know, not.

You do realize it's considered a sport over there, right? Or are you that closed minded to other cultures?
