in the first image, the driver is clearly looking at the man. In the second, he's leaned more forward as if he had slammed on his brakes (but not quite in time). So I conclude that he did notice, but just a little too late

The driver looks to be an elderly woman. Yet another reason the elderly should be required to pass competency driving tests as they age.

I'm not sure that can be consider real because the way the victim gets hit doesn't make much sense. Where exactly did he get hit to cause his body to fly that way?

Pehaps if the right corner of the car knocked out his leg, sending him headfirst, face up toward the right side mirror area, and he gripped with his free hand some where, causing his flip-around when the car decelerated so quickly.

I still have my doubts, but I'll suspend disbelief until the reports are linked.

Probably because she didnt stop... hence the running a red light... probably a hit and run. an elderly person prolly doesnt have the reflexes to stop a thousandth of a second after she hit someone, especially if she's not looking.

If it's fake, it's funny in the "Final Destination 2" kind of way. If it's real, it's really horrible.

Or laughing at it may be some people's defense mechanisms/coping methods when presented with such a situation.

i mean whats worse, a person who thinks something that already happened and cant do anything about it is funny, or someone who wishes the same thing on another person?
