National Treasure 2

I'm actually looking forward to this. The way they did National Treasure was far more how I envisioned the Da Vinci Code than the actual Da Vinci Code movie.

Yay!

I really really really enjoyed the first movie. It's one of my favourites to be honest.

:D
nope.

The first one was goofy beyond belief. This one actually already looks better based on the trailer. The magic word must have been "globe", as the first one never should have left the shores of the USA...

Nicholas Cage is an over-rated under-talented excuse for an actor. Ed Harris is awesome, though.

If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

BTW this preview is scaring me a bit because it seems like they're trying to make it the single hugest biggest globe-spanning society-shattering conspiracy treasure assasination secret ever[/b].

Nicholas Cage is awesome.

I don't care what you say, he rules at the one role he plays.

I sent a submission to be an extra for this when they were filming in Washington DC... I didn't get picked, but my friend did! I am envious.

I liked the first one. It was pretty entertaining.

I liked him a lot in ConAir.

The first one was entertaining. Not a fantastic blockbuster, but still entertaining.

More importantly, though, Ed Harris for the win.

If it's anything like the first movie, I won't be seeing it. Nicholas Cage is annoying. He's the same character in every movie...like Vin Diesel (who I actually do like in Pitch Black). I'm not saying that Nicholas Cage doesn't have a few good movies, but once you've seen 1 or 2 of them, you've pretty much seen them all. I guess I'm just saying that National Treasure would have been 90% better if he weren't a part of it.

I like Nicolas Cage in quite a lot of films. The Rock (obviously), Con Air, The Family Man, Snake Eyes, Face/Off...

Never saw National Treasure, though.

Nick Cage rocks in Adaptation, but lets not forget...

They didn't show Riley in the "starring" credits, so I was worried it'd be missing a good deal of the comedy from the first movie. Then he appeared, and I was satisfied.

I thought Lord of War was pretty sick.

Then again I was half passed out when I saw it.

Ha! Thank you. I haven't seen the movie, but I'm betting those scenes summed it up enough.

Lord of War was sick, I own it on DVD, but it wasn't due to anything special from Nic.

BTW Spe that clip is amazing.... Hilarious.

I've got it on DVD as well. Some of the exchanges between Orlov and Valentine are great, like over the "attack" helicopter and in the interrogation room .
