My roommate got a PS3 for a graduation gift.
It seems now that, whenever we turn it on, one end of the house gets disconnected (the PS3 sits between myself and the wireless router, and my roommate's computer is on the other side of the router). We at first thought it was because the PS3 was connecting wirelessly, but, after running it through a switch, I still get kicked off the network.
We're running a Linksys WRT54G v6 wireless router - both the PS3 and the router are running the latest software. Yes, I know it's the PS3, because my music (which is accessed via a SAMBA share on my Linux box) cuts out whenever the PS3 is turned on (and I lose network connectivity).
Any thoughts as to why the PS3 is such an IP whore?
