What is/are your favorite theme song/s? the one/s you hate?

Favorite: House, Scrubs, M*A*S*H
Opposite: Law and Order.

Favorite: Stargate Sg-1, Star Trek, Simpsons, Powerpuff Girls :tinfoil:
Hate: Any of that new junk they show on cartoon network. Bring back the old shows! :argh:

I like the Law and Order theme, as well as the Hill Street Blues theme (both by the same guy).

edit - I also love the Aliens theme (the main titles/Ripley waking up), but that's not really a song.

Whenever I like a show, I always end up growing into liking the themes. It's like my body knows a dose of the drug is about to enter my system and my "happy" receptors start firing even though the theme usually has nothing to do with the show/content.

Favourite would have to be the opening sequence from The Rock.

I can't think of any themes I hate off the top of my head, but I haven't watched any TV in a long time. Probably as soon as I get home and start channel surfing I'll come across one I dislike. Although, I imagine that if there's a particular theme I hate it's probably due to the fact that I don't like the program it's for.

Firefly has a good theme. Other than that I don't really have any favorites, other than Star Trek freaking Voyager. Great theme that.

If you include video games, then Deus Ex hands ****ing down. Anyone who doesn't agree are :downs:

Hmmm...

Like: Monk (the original, instrumental theme), the Office, both Stargates, X-Files, and I'm in the minority when I say I liked the theme from 3rd season Enterprise, when they sped up the song.

There are lots more that I like, but just can't come up with them off the top of my head, like, St. Elsewhere.

Can't think of any I don't like, unless you count the new Monk theme and the old Enterprise theme.

Oh my, let's see here....I like Scrubs, Firefly, The Sopranos, Star Trek TNG, The Simpsons, and Dilbert. Actually I find it amusing that while my favorite show is Battlestar, I'm not terribly fond of the theme.
