We have like one of these a month, it's nuts.

I need a TV tuner for a laptop, and I was wondering if these PCMCIA cards are worth it at all. Or if the USB or firewire ones work at all.

AVERmedia seems to make alot of PCMCIA tuner cards. Are they any good?

Don't know what is good, but I would go the USB-route so that you can use it on a desktop computer, if you ever want to.

USB ones lag, so don't be using them for anything other than TV watching (where lag doesn't matter).

The most expensive avermedia whatever card gets some really good reviews.
