Some time ago in #massassi, I was discussing sound APIs like FMOD, and someone linked me to a music authoring API (I think primarily aimed at OS X) and now I can't seem to find it. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Oh, and just for anyone's information, the API is kind of crappy, and the freeware version has an annoying splash screen that, in my case, stopped responding and wouldn't go away.

FMOD is way better.

I think I was the one that linked you to it. It sucked less before they added the splash screen.
