Need quick help with lumens

Ok, so lumens are basically a measure of the total amount of light emitted by a source at a specific location, right?

So in figure 1, at point X, let's say there's 500 lumens.

Does that mean that in Figure 2, at point X, there's 1000 lumens (assuming that everything is equal between the two bulbs?

Lumens is a flux, so it's techically directional. But at the same time it's a measure of Power through an area.

I would say it is additive... but don't quote me on that.
