Okay, I just bought Medieval 2 Total War but the battles have very low framerate and are virtually unplayable. I more than meet the games requirements.

Here are my system details:

Graphics card:

NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GS

Processor:

Intel Pentium D 3.40 GHZ

Ram: 1.0 GB


What should I do to get a decent framerate? Is my graphics card crap?

The 7300 GS performs about as fast as a Radeon 9700 Pro. It has more features but it's too slow to really use them. That there's a $40 video card.

It's probably not out yet. That game totally smashed my machine. And it uses way more ram than it says you need.

weird, Medieval2 runs fine on my 9800 pro.
