Technically those had multiplayer with patches, but no one ever played them.

MP for Bioshock wasn't included because the devs were not confident they could do it right, and with any form of justice. However, now that development is wrapping up, they feel more confident that they could include a MP component if Bioshock 2 is made.

Personally, I just want a kick *** SP game. I don't need MP to keep me going back to a game. It helps, but it isn't needed.
