I'm eating sushi tonight. Good tasty hosomakis and futomakis. Yub yub. All washed down with some saké, of course.

What are you having?

There's this awesome Japanese grill near my house that I ate at yesterday. I'm tempted to get food from there again today.

Tonight my best friend is coming over and we're probably drinking/playing 360. Might go to the casino if we're feeling lucky. Should be a good time.

Probably wings.

Our favorite Billiards place in town is closing at the end of the month because of decreased business due to the smoking ban that was enacted at the beginning of the year. So my roommate and I are going to try Willie's Pub and Pool, which is known for their wings and hot sauce.

I had a Mcdonalds QP/C. It was horrifying and I regretted every bite and I hate how my parents started eating when I was away. My aunt and uncle are coming up all weekend, so I should get lots of steal and chicken and pork and mmmm. Maybe, if I'm lucky, meat loaf.

Mmmm, are cider beers any good? I've never had one. I could imagine a warm beer with cidar in it being good.

I hate to admit it, but I have yet to find a beer I really like. As for cider, I usially go for the amber or draft ciders (I found a great draft cider on tap in a pub in London, if only I could remember the name.). And they cook really well too (actually, I usially use regular old cider for cooking, and leave the good stuff for drinking).

Hey, anyone in SoCal should try a place called Minato Sushi in Lake Forest. That's the best sushi I've ever had*.

I know we've got a few guys around here who could make the drive, it's totally worth it. Go for all you can eat and load up on the chef's specials, esp the "hot summer" rolls and the "dynamite".

*used to be better though before management changed. Still relatively awesome though. I've had better quality recently in NYC, but at $40 a plate of like 5 rolls :gonk:

I'd make the drive but...I'd have to get over my fears or disgusts of raw seafood. Coupled with the fact that I do not like seafood in general. Says this person who lives 10 mins from the beach.

The steak I had was really awful. There's a difference between well-marbled steak, and steak-flavored fat.

The only cider I've ever had that I really like (which was also on tap in a pub in London, so you never know!) was Inches. haven't had it in about 7 years though

It's called a snakebite, and its kickass. They're pretty good with a bit of Vodka added too.
