xkcd is a huge hit within my school's CS department. I have it in my RSS reader, look forward to it every (other) day.

Today's was great, I've definitely had those kinds of thoughts.

And yeah, don't forget to read the alt-text.

I love xkcd.

Actually now that I think about it I posted an xkcd comic yesterday in that gay bomb thread. :D

Haha, it's amazing how much like my life that comic is.

Except I suck at math.

So it really isn't.

This one trumps all others in the thread. And now I also must go back and read all of them from the beginning, for a see a small thread of genius.

Some of them were interesting and quite clever (like Snapples), some of them made me chuckle (like the text only Counter Strike). I think I'd probably have more love for xkcd if I was more mathematically or scientifically inclined.
2007-06-12, 9:43 AM #23
Aye, that is why I loved the ones about Fourier, Keppler and Schrodinger.
2007-06-12, 9:49 AM #24
Yeah, there are a lot of CS "in" jokes as well.

As for the alt-text, instead of hovering you can right click and hit properties.
