Disclaimer: Quite possibly old news

Anyone else play it?

For those who don't know it's a free to download multiplayer racing game.

You can get it from https://www.trackmanianations.com/

I tend to play on the more conventional tracks which focus on actual racing not doing hundreds of jumps and loops. It's great fun!

I too prefer the more racingy tracks rather than the stunty tracks.

I just downloaded it and went through all of the Beginner Training levels. Very fun game!

It's a good game but it can make you angry. Everything has to be perfect to get a gold medal. If you beat the authors time you get a special one.

Couldn't do the same for the other levels though. I got about 50% on advance and 25% on expert. All golds though that weren't author medals.

To get it to work on vista you have to launch the .exe directly not going through the launcher.

Also, you probably have to update starforce

Also, about starforce, it may be gone. I think it still doesn't support XP x64 and it installed just fine on my system. Maybe that's only for the game they sell.

Yes, I actually got a lot of author medals (about 10) first time round on beginner so then I thought i'd try for the rest :p
