Intel Xeon problem (come, tech-knowledgeable people)

so i had a workstation with dual Intel Xeon's running Windows 2000. when i opened up the windows task manager, under the performance tab i saw two cpu usage graphs (for those with dual cores, you know what i mean). recently, i reformatted the computer and installed windows xp professional. now the computer runs slower than usual (it might be just me, i dunno), but under the performance tab, it shows 4 graphs now instead of 2. whats the deal??

I don't know much about Xeon's... do they have Hyperthreading? That might be the culprit.

It's probably hyper threading. Also, yeah it will be slower under XP. That's just a given.
