In the 2 years I attended college I took 3 english classes, passed with A's in all 3, and I still make mistakes.

But having so much english pounded into my head made me a grammar/spelling nazi.

Touche, Evad. I can tell you though that normally I am a very good English student. However, when I am more in a frenzy / rant mode, I tend to make mistakes.

Why. Don't. You. Capitalize. Anything.

Beginnings of sentences I can see as a style issue for the web. I might even be able to accept the lowercase "I" as a style issue. But there is no way I can accept lowercase proper nouns (your use of "american" and "english") as anything other than a mistake.

he's Canadian. he probably does it on purpose. as a way of showing disrespect for us americans. that's what I do, anyway.

Regarding pointing out personal responsibility, mscbuck and kirby, have you guys read a book called Atlas Shrugged? Amusing parallel to your conversation.

Its an example of the amount injustice that us common people have to face. We work hard, and get a paycheck, but it flys straight by. Im really not looking forward to having a place of my own (I may not have a student loan to pay back), but I'd find it hard (I live in the UK goddamit).

nice. i got burned.

i don't capitalize anything. it started with php. i was spending a lot of time learning and then making stuff happen. then the non capitalization took over for everything. it doesn't have anything to do with respect. i don't capitalize canada either.
i have to admit, i love not putting capitals on christ, jesus, god and him (when referring to christ). it's like brian says, it's a show of contempt for all things god and jesus.
