am I really the first one posting this? Come on you East Coasters... Get on the ball.

Anyway, post your plans for the day. I'm gonna be working till this afternoon. Then I'll play it by ear. (In other words, I have no life.)
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

My favorite day of the year. Despite not being a gun toting redneck, I am really patriotic and I love getting into the spirit of independence and patriotism. I was raised to see my country as a beautiful place where I am free to have whatever opinion I want to have, and be whoever I want to be. Maybe I consider Patriotism and Liberalism to be similar things, but regardless, I'm going to blow **** up and get ****faced.

Happy day off, America. We just had ours Monday.

Know what my favorite part of a long weekend is? The day off is nice, but only having to work four days before the next weekend is even better.

A day off in the middle of the week is awesome too because it really helps break it up.

I don't get the day off. In contrast, I have to work a 12 hour shift.

Yeah, but enjoy the cold. I passed through Duluth yesterday, my nipples were like pencil erasers.

we're not allowed to do that.

Just got home from work.. Was fun. Took an hour lunch and drank 5 12oz beers (no food).

Then went back to work for the last few hours.

My 4th consisted of me waking up sick from drinking too much the previous night, watching all episodes from season 1 of Ugly Betty, cleaning, laundry, and soon I'll be baking a pie.

I don't have a life. I'll go be emo in the kitchen now. >_>

I ran safety for my one friend (who was trashed and with a guy we didn't know that well) and babysat for my other (who tried absinthe for the first time and butt raped...I'm sorry, danced with me all night) while running away from the creepy guy in the group.

god I'm getting good at multitasking

Played mini golf on the boardwalk. Sadly, it was too windy, so fireworks were canceled.

We did the usual...grilled our food outdoors and set off fireworks.
2007-07-05, 2:48 PM #33
oh man, we had at least 150 people here last night. It was a blast, but the actual city fireworks suck when there's no one to snuggle with while watching them.

One of the little girls ripped her foot open on a rock and bled PROFUSELY and we had to stop shooting off the little fireworks for the youngins. That's my favorite part, but the girl's attention hunger was a killjoy, and I just went and got wasted.

Speaking of which, I drank until 5AM, and got up at 3:30PM just a little while ago. I probably had 7 or 8 mikes hard lemonades, and 3 or 4 cigars. I feel like a million bucks!

Wetn down to the local fireworks show, hung out with some friends, walked around town. All in all a good night.
