I've been playing alot of Singleplayer games lately, I picked up RS:V and Hitman: Blood Money for $50 total, so I've been taking a crack at those, also hop on Guitar Hero whenever the mood strikes me.

(By the way, RS:V is really, really amazing.)

Everything I've heard says it's several steps back from Raven Shield.

They're really different games. Vegas is more of a tactical version of gears of war than a true Rainbow Six game. But if you play it in the spirit that's intended, it's really an amazing game.

Something I've been wondering... Is Vegas co-op? And if so, is it co-op from the get go? Or is it one of those games where you have to play through the campaign yourself before you can play through all the missions in co-op?

Annnd... Same questions, but for Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.

Vegas I'll play, love the demo. Ghost Recon I hate, but will play in co-op. I have a friend who loves both of those series and we have a blast playing co-op in old skool Ghost Recon.

I just got the system a few weeks ago. I've mostly only played GoW online so far.

I enjoyed R6:V more because it wasn't as tactical as previous R6 games. I was never a fan of the planning stage.

As for co-op, you can choose individual maps without having played the single player. You can't play on Live with two people on one console though, which sucks.

I, on the other hand, love the planning stage, and love the tactical aspect.

I haven't decided if I like the creepy panda yet or not. I've seen a bunch of gamer picture things that I like, but I refuse to pay for them. It's retarded.

Agreed. I can't stand being nickel and dimed by Microsoft.

I am Sweet Milky Seat, my brother is cdelse. I usually play on his account because he usually buys Live Cards before I do, thus his gamerscore pwns mine.

Gamerscores are stupid. Fun, but stupid. Just play the damn game and get achievements just for the fun of getting them and so you can feel special for a few minutes. Don't use it as an e-penis.

So far Crackdown is the only game I've seen that actually has awesome achievements. Mostly because it's not just crap you'll get by playing the game. It's all fun little stuff to try for on the side. THAT'S what achievements SHOULD be.

I really don't care about achievements. I don't think I've tried for a single one. I play through a game, and if I get achievements, fine. For example, in Gears I have like 330 out of 1250 achievements, and I've played through it twice, and online several times a week. However, I only play non-ranked matches, so that disqualifies me from a lot of achievements.

Anyway, yeah, I couldn't care less.

Same here - Ranked matches are nowhere near as much fun as organised matches with your mates.

I'm mostly the same way. Gears isn't great in terms of achievements, because a WHOLE lot of them are mundane, online, ranked matches only, grind until you get it achievements.

Crackdown on the other hand, has an achievement for harpooning 5 gang members to a car. An achievement for blowing up 100+ objects in 60 seconds (this is hilarious fun when you gather everything in one place, especially considering how pretty Crackdown's explosions are). An achievement for doing 3+ rolls/flips while airborne in any car. It's fun stuff. Stuff you won't necessarily run into doing while playing to meet objectives. Stuff that gives you incentive to come back and keep playing, just to see what it looks like (blowing up 100 objects in 60 seconds) or how hard it is (3+ rolls/flips while airborne). They're fun mini challenges.

I'd rather have achievements like those, then "Play x ranked matches and get x kills per game"

Yeah, I agree. Project 8 has some cool achievements like that.
