The past few days have been horrible for zIRC. Many of the servers on the network are disconnecting and forming their own new network, SynIRC.

It seems like it would be a good idea to move with them, as zIRC slowly falls apart.

So we have a choice:

A. We wait and stick it out with zIRC (possibly to its horrible death)

or

B. We move now, and do it cleanly.

So, is SynIRC the only option? If not, I suggest freenode. The fact that it's the only other server that I'm constantly connected to might have something to do with that, but it's reliable.

We're pretty much moved already. And since a bunch of #massassians are goons (or like people to think they are) it makes sense to follow them :awesome:

holonet is a hell hole if none of you realized. prophet (the only IRCop i think) is a complete jackass. Remember ret? Yea, instead of banning ret, he banned me for idling in the #help room. I was idling because i didnt get a response for at least 2 weeks for a simple question.

At least on these bigger networks the IRCops actually help people out.

SynIRC is great, we had a problem in one of the channels today, the head op came to the channel within minutes and solved our problem in seconds, SynIRC is great.
