I'm interested in having a vague idea of the personality makeup of Massassi - just for kicks. I have some hunches but I'll wait until I get enough replies..

Take the quiz - it's based on the Meyer-Briggs tests which are pretty hefty, but this is much shorter, and still very accurate, IMO. It will take you 5 minutes or less. For your information, I've taken the real Meyer-Briggs test and this one gave me the same result. (I've taken many forms of the same test and I've gotten the same result each time). Let us know your personality type, as far as it applies to this test. There are 16 possible types. Also, please post a link to the personality description it gives you at the end of the test.

Again, I have a hunch, but I'm going to hold off until I get some replies.

No. That's just how good the test is - I have an outside description of the INTP (which is my type) which is very long and very in-depth. There are no generalizations and it's not like some astrology crap. It goes into super-specific detail, and it nails me PERFECTLY. If you want to see what I'm talking about, glance at this - http://www.intp.org/intprofile.html - page after page of specific information that is a complete dead-ringer for me!

That's why I'm such a big fan of the Meyer-Briggs tests.

Oh, and if you were wondering what my hunch is - it was that a disproportionately large portion of Massassi will be of the I*T* type. And so far I'm right - 80% of those who have responded to the thread are introverted thinkers..

EDIT - Oops.. with dor's response that comes to over 83%.. Really makes you think, doesn't it?

I thought it might be of interest to note that INTP's and INTJ's make up 2% of the general population - they are the two rarest types (with the former being the rarest). And yet, they make up about half of this community if the respondees so far are a reliable cross section of the community.
