Made in China

Today, I wanted to play some tennis with friends, but we didn't have any decent tennis balls. So I stopped by at a local sports store and spotted a bag of 12 tennis balls for sale. It was for only $6, so why not? 12 tennis balls for that price, including a nifty bag to carry them in. Big mistake. After 45 minutes of playing, almost all the balls broke apart. That's right, the tennis balls began to disjoint after only a few games of play. Not only that, but they lacked a logo and colored an unusual tone of yellow. I'm guessing these were meant for fishing lures but disguised as tennis balls. Thank you "Made in China."

A month ago I mentioned I got a green laser pointer. It hardly works anymore. Glad I didn't pay for this crap laser pointer, complete with Engrish instructions.

Not saying that all things "Made in China" is crap. But anyone else got inferior products manufactured there (or Mexico)?

Tons, this is why made in China products are cheap after all. When it comes to buying pricey electronics, I usually try to avoid ones that are made in China.

Just because something is made in China does not mean it is of poor build quality. Cheap products which are made in China usually suck because the lack of quality materials and process control are what makes it cheap. Higher quality products that cost more don't usually have that problem.

doesn't matter so much where it was made but more how much did you pay for it... the only consistent suck from "made in china" is knives... as pretty much all "made in china" knives are cheapo knockoffs of "made in usa" (though i see more buck 110 copies that came from pakistan than anywhere else) or "made in switzerland" brand and then there are the chinese made knockoff swords... everything from katanas to russian cossack swords are being poorly reproduced in china
